The AZIRE Learning Center in Second Life
The AZIRE Learning Center in Greater Chilbo:

The AZIRE Learning Center
in Greater Chilbo is located
in the Education Village on Route 9 in the Madhupak Sim
on the Second Life Mainland.

Consolidated from its Phase 1 locations (spread over four
store fronts along Route 9), The AZIRE Learning Center's
Phase 2 facility exists in a single location that contains a
bookshop and a snack bar on the first floor, a classroom
space on the second floor, and a meditation space on the
rooftop terrace.

All through the Learning Center there are a variety of
informational installations. Among these are: notecards
containing links to recommended parapsychology blogs
and websites
, two YouTube viewers -- the one on the first
floor
is currently featuring videos of Charles T. Tart; the
one on the second floor loops through the very good brief
introductory videos developed by the YouTube Channel
Parapsychology 101 --;
three powerpoint presentations --
on the first floor one powerpoint displays "An
Introduction to the Scientific Study of Psychic
Phenomena," and the other one rolls through
50+
websites of organizations, institutions and individuals
working the field
--, on the second floor, the powerpoint
is "stuck" on "Definitions of Parapsychology" and will
soon be replaced by "The History of Psychical Research
and Parapsychology."

On the second floor there is also
a photo gallery of real
life scientists and scholars who have contributed to the
physics and psychology of seemingly psychic experience

with click-throughs to their personal websites. On the
first floor an announcement board is kept updated on
upcoming online courses.

All through the building there are notecard- and
landmark-givers that provide links for recommended
blogs and websites, present the biography of Charles T.
Tart and links to his websites, and the playlist for
Parapsychology 101 YouTube videos. There are also
panels that allow the visitor to join the Friends of AZIRE
group or IM Maggie Larimore (Nancy Zingrone) or
Rodolfo Mirabella (Carlos Alvarado), a donation box, and
a landmark-giver both for The AZIRE's online bookstore
and for
The AZIRE Library on Innovation Info Island.
